On Friday, the Douglas County Health Department reported 421 new cases of COVID-19 that were received over the past day, ending at midnight. For reference, Douglas County reported 296 new cases the day before, making the latest numbers a large jump. This brings the total cases in Douglas County since the outbreak began in March to 22,786.The Health Department received no new death certificates during the past day related to COVID-19.
