The victim reported being injured at a nightclub located in the 3500 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. Detectives say they determined the victim was battered by the suspect, later identified as Alvin Kamara. He was located and taken into custody without incident Sunday. Kamara was transported to the Clark County Detention Center, booked for battery resulting in substantial bodily harm. Kamara just finished his fifth season in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints. He is one of the franchises most productive and popular players.
